These terms apply to orders placed on this website. Please read them before ordering; placing an order means you accept them.
1. About us and these terms
This website sells the Wild Bee Hotel directly to customers worldwide. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights in your own country.
2. Prices and currency
All prices are shown and charged in British pounds (GBP) and include any tax we are required to collect, shown at checkout. Import duties or local taxes charged by your own customs authority on delivery are separate and are the recipient's responsibility. We may change prices at any time, but never after you have paid for an order.
3. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we send you a confirmation email or ship your goods, whichever is first. We may decline an order — for example if an item is out of stock, a price was displayed in error, or we cannot deliver to your address — and will refund you in full if we do.
4. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may cancel the order.
5. Delivery
Shipping is free worldwide. Dispatch and delivery timings on our shipping page are estimates, not contractual guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
6. Returns and the 30-day guarantee
You may return an item within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, as set out on our returns page. Please do not return a hotel that bees have already nested in — contact us instead.
7. The product
The Wild Bee Hotel is a garden nesting structure made from natural materials. Cedar colour, grain and copper patina vary between units and change with weathering; that is a property of the materials, not a fault. We describe the product as accurately as we can, but we cannot guarantee that wild bees will nest in any particular garden — occupancy depends on local species, position, season and food sources. 8. Use and safety
Mount the hotel securely following the supplied guidance and keep it away from routes where a falling object could cause harm. The hotel is not a toy. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper mounting.
9. Liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Intellectual property
The text, photographs and design of this website belong to us and may not be copied or republished without permission.
